Spray tan is becoming increasingly popular, a great way to have a natural looking tan without exposure to harmful UVA rays causing skin damage and skin cancer.

SPRAY TAN ADVICE:

Before Treatment Advice:

• 24 hours before your tan ... Do any hair removal, either wax or shaving. If shaving, use hair conditioner as shaving products can leave a residue on your skin causing the tan to not develop properly.
• The morning of your tan ... EXFOLIATE your body completely to remove dead skin cells with a body polish. Pay extra attention to elbows, knees,hands and wrists.
• Rinse off in the shower completely especially hair conditioner et.
• Wear dark, loose fitting clothing and underwear, if possible go braless to avoid strap marks.
• Do not wear any perfume, deodorant, make up or jewellery and ABSOLUTLEY DO NOT USE A BODY MOISTURISER.

The Treatment:

• The treatment will take up to 15 minutes but you will need to allow extra time to prepare and dress.
• The spray mist will dry on your skin in just a few minutes so you can dress straight after the treatment.
• AVOID touching and rubbing the tan once treatment has been applied.

After Treatment Advice:

• Spray tan contains a colour guide and will start to develop immediately.
• AVOID water completely.
• Leave the tan on for at least 5 hours, best of all is to leave it on overnight and shower off in the morning.
• When showering off do not scrub your skin, use a little shower gel and let the water wash it away.
• When drying yourself just pat your skin do not rub.
• Moisturise daily. Hydrated skin is the key to a long lasting tan. Use moisturiser especially designed to be used with a spray tan as this will prevent the tan from breaking down.
• Lightly exfoliate every 2-3 days to ensure even fading. This will refine and buff the skin leaving if feeling ultra-smooth.
